IRA Distributions

What is an IRA qualified charitable distribution?

Beginning with the year you turn age 73, you may be looking for ways to reduce your income and taxes from IRA withdrawals. By taking advantage of the IRA qualified charitable distribution, you may be able to meet these goals and support Every Child Succeeds. An IRA qualified charitable distribution is a distribution directly from your IRA to a qualified charity.

Potential benefits of an IRA qualified charitable distribution:

  • Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.

  • Meet your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.

  • Build a personal legacy with Every Child Succeeds.
